KKP's Little Black Boy

Little Black Boy is an inspirational tale about a young Black Boy navigating life in this confusing world. The main character is a young boy named Tyler who goes through an average day for him in his neighborhood, but is stopped by all his adult community members who gives him inspiration along the way. Sometimes our Little Black Boys need an extra nudge of encouragement when they are feeling a little discouraged. This book is one they can read consistently, with the shorter version, Little Black Boy - the poem, read daily for daily inspiration. I wrote this book based on the poem, "Little Black Boy", which was written after the birth of my first-born nephew (Dre'vonn Kelly Jr.) and the death of my first cousin (Aaron Kelley Sr.). 

This book is dedicated to my nephews Dre'vonn Kelley Jr., Damarion Stelly, my little cousin Aaron Kelley Jr. & My very own Little Black Boy, my son Rae'Kari Antwain Kelley-McNeil. 

I found out I was pregnant about three months after the release of my book, Little Black Boy. Miraculously, I was carrying my very own Little Black Boy. He is everything and can be seen pictured to the left and above, reading Little Black Boy - the book.
